Today was my husbands’ day to sleep in. he took the week off because he had treatment Monday and daily 2 hour ECG’s (Tues, Wed, Thurs).
I thought he’d still be asleep when I left for work (10am)….but he was awake and in the shower at 6am this morning. WHY??? Because that’s the time the world cup started here in California. I’m going to miss experiencing the world cup in Lebanon this year :( here in the states I haven’t seen one flag anywhere. No one has even mentioned the world cup. I won’t be able to watch all the games this year….and I envy everyone in Leb this year….having fun, and experiencing the fun with family and neighbors, I miss that!
Shakira again performed for the world cup (she did hips don’t lie in Germany 2006)… aside from Shakira being LEBANESE/Columbian … she’s fantastic! She is so multicultural in her singing. I just love her music…and dancing!

Yeah it's just not the same people are so excited over there but here in the states not many care for soccer. Oh and Shakira is very talented and beautiful!
I couldn't agree more angie. I miss Leb so much. I moved to the states a week ago. I miss the flags, gathering, honking after each game...ad everything else about that little messy country ;)
