You’re wrong. I love being a Lebanese American. I’m so proud! Aside from raising a very proud son who has decided he wants to join the Marines one day.....I also have a photo that was taken in 2006 in our Apartment in Lebanon. It was just a few weeks before we had to evacuate. The quality is bad...because we took it with a web camera so looong ago when we used to chat online with our family. Anyways, if you look closely at this photo...behind me and my husband, on our door there’s an American Flag. During the world cup that year...i put that same American Flag on our balcony. I only brought it back in the apartment when USA was no longer competing.
so even though i really hate this photo...I just wanted you all to see, I Love USA even when I'm in Lebanon...and vice versa :)

Hi Angie! I really like your blog and it's obvious how much you like the States. I'm also half-Lebanese and would love to pay a visit to the U.S, especially New York and California :) My parents went there for their honeymoon and traveled to Hawaii, all their souvenirs are kept intact back in out mountain house in Lebanon.

I agree with Salma, you don't have to prove anything to anyone. Those who knows you, knows how much you love America. Just ignore them.
I join you Angie in raising our voice up and show how much we love America. I also LOVE being a combination of two cultuers. We should call our selves "we are the best of both worlds" ;)
